I have Miniature
Dachshund Adult Dogs available for Companions. Some have already
been spayed or neutered. It takes a very Special family to adopt an older
dog and to give them the love and attention they deserve. They are not
like young puppies, sometimes it takes weeks, months even a year for them
to adjust and to trust and love their new owner. Love and patience is
required for them to adjust fully to a new environment. My dogs have not
been raised with young children, so would not be suitable as a child's
pet. They prefer adult female fellowship.
If you are interested please
email me and tell me why you are looking for a companion older dog, to be
part of your family. They are sold for a nominal price without their
registration papers.

Most of the dogs are
being placed for adoption for a nominal fee because
I want them
to be # 1 in a family.
AKC
papers are retained and not given with the dogs placed for Pet/Companion
on
Spay/Neuter Contract.
All
dogs are current on yearly boosters, rabies and heartworm preventative
and
also Micro-chipped.
These
dogs have not been raised with young children.

This is
Artie and is a very handsome boy. He comes in a large package, around
18 lbs.
He is somewhat shy around strangers and has not been raised
with men
or young children.
I
believe with patience and love would adjust in a lady's home or couple
with
older
children.
He
loves playing outside and gets along with all, but believe he would do
best being an
only dog
or 1 of 2 dogs, so he could be spoiled.
He is
current on vaccinations, heartworm preventative, micro-chipped and
has been
neutered.

This Is
Ivory and although small, almost 9 lbs, she is a real go-getter. She loves to
play outside,
but enjoys
her inside time.
She gets
along with all and never causes any trouble. She enjoys watching the cows
next door
and doesn't like it if they get too close to her yard.
She is
current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and is on
heartworm
preventative. She does need to be spayed at this time.
She has not
been raised with men or young children. I prefer a lady home,
but will consider a
couple.

This is Joy,
who is a lovely little lady, and has been a real joy to me. She comes
from
a line of
wonderful mothers with great temperaments and was one
of my
babies.
She usually
has a worried look on her face, but
doesn't act
worried unless she can't find a frog or a squirrel to harass
or play
with.
She loves
tracking frogs and anything else that she feels does not belong in her yard.
She is
Non-Alfa and gets along with all.
She weighs
around 11 lbs, current on vaccinations, heartworm
preventative, micro-chipped and is spayed. Although not raised
with men or
young children, I believe she would fit into a family
with older
children.

This is
Sapphire and a real sweetheart that would love to be a
inside dog
24/7. She's a late morning sleeper and sometimes
need to be
motivated to go out. Once outside, she plays and
checks out things and
then wants back inside.
She weighs
around 12 lbs, current on vaccinations, heartworm
preventative, and is micro-chipped. She does need
to be spayed
which I plan to have done within 6-7 weeks.
She will be
ready for her new home then. I believe a older couple
home would
work best for her.

This is VBee
and is a grand-daughter to my Klassy that I lost a few
years back
after a battle with a snake.
She is a
real beauty and is another frog & squirrel hunter.
She is
playful and outgoing. She has not been raised with men or
young
children.
She weighs
around 13 lbs, current on vaccinations, heartworm
preventive,
micro-chipped and needs to be spayed.
I believe
she would do best in a lady's home or older couple.

Mercedes. She is a quite little girl and love her time in the house. She
is not fond
of the 100 degree temps and prefer to be laying on the
cool
ceramic tile. She loves playing in the water bowls and chasing squirrels.
She weighs
about 10 lbs, current on vaccinations, heartworm preventive,
micro-chipped and needs to be spayed before she leaves here. She has not been raised
with young
children, but I believe would adjust to
a family
with older children.
